Entreprise Niagara and Innovate Niagara Announce Niagara Technology Grant Fund Recipients

NIAGARA, ON – Venture Niagara Community Futures Development Corporation and Innovate Niagara are pleased to announce the eleven recipients of the Niagara Technology Grants Fund, a joint project helping local businesses and non-profit organizations adopt technology to improve productivity, strengthen operations and enhance service delivery. The pilot program offered a total funding pool of $50,000, with grants of up to $5,000 per eligible project requiring matching contributions from recipients. Thirty-nine organizations applied, demonstrating strong interest in technology adoption across Niagara.
Following a review by a joint Venture Niagara and Innovate Niagara committee, the following
organizations were selected:
- The Apiary – St. Catharines
- Community Crew – Niagara-on-the-Lake
- Gather Tasting Room – Fort Erie
- Giant Shoe Creative – St. Catharines
- Habitat for Humanity – St. Catharines
- Vineland Physiotherapy – Lincoln
- iMVR – Lincoln
- Kamps Greenhouses Inc. – Lincoln
- MZE Architects – St. Catharines
- Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Village – St. Catharines
- Waysights – St. Catharines
The fund supports projects involving software and digital tools, automation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, e-commerce, advanced manufacturing technologies, and other technological solutions. Applications were assessed for their alignment with the program’s objectives and their
potential to deliver meaningful benefits to the organization and the Niagara community.
“Technology adoption can make a meaningful difference in how a business operates or how a not-for-profit serves its community,” said Frank Rupcic, General Manager of Venture Niagara. “Through our partnership with Innovate Niagara, this fund helps local organizations move practical projects forward. We congratulate the eleven recipients and look forward to seeing the results of their investments.”
